Active in the construction industry since 1977, Damian is a Registered Builder and Accredited Skills Assessor. He is a fully qualified Carpenter and Joiner and holds an Open Builder’s License.

Other qualifications include:

• Certificate IV Construction
• Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment Systems
• Diploma of Teaching
• Diploma in Workplace Training and Assessment Systems
• Bachelor of Education

Damian also has seats on Industry Working Groups facilitated by the ITAB Construction Training Queensland. He has been a regular advocate in providing industry- based advice to various committees discussing construction training initiatives and directions. Damian has developed strong affiliations with many training institutions developing construction training programmes.
